Pantone Colour for 2012

Pantone has announced it's colour of the year for 2012, Tangerine Tango. I like how they describe the colour as exotic, but in a friendly way.

When I look at Tangerine Tango I think of those old 1970 Tupperware containers.

2011 - January Rewind

The gang over at the Creative Collective have invited people to take up the challenge of the 'January Rewind'. It's aim to reflect over what happened in 2011 and think about the highs and lows. So lets go back down memory lane.

THE HIGHLIGHTS
January
5th - I crocheted my very first amigurumi soft toy. I crocheted this little robot dog for my mum. She now carries it in her bag for good luck.
30th - I attended my first Zentangle TM lesson. Conducted by one of the 2 official Zentangle teachers. I found the whole experience relaxing, fun and very inspiring. I still use Zentangle to help me get to sleep.

March
4th - My products were excepted into a retail shop. Seeing my products in the Curious Oyster Shoppe was such a super boost.
30th - Visiting the Melbourne Finders Keepers. Once again I find it inspirational, fun and there are too many goodies that I want!

July
3rd - The Hottie Challenge. Even though I didn't participate, it was inspirational and amazing. I so hope there is one this year. I may even take up the challenge!!

August
4th - I had this old design, so I thought I would check out what it would be like on fabric. Pretty cool, thanks to Spoonflower
9th - By this happening, I fulfilled a bucket list dream. Getting my product printed in a magazine! Thank you Paperunway!

September
The last highlight was going to England, seeing my mother-in-law and sweet friend Sam.

THE LOW-LIGHTS
December
My mother-in-law died. Hubby and I had to rush back to England, to organise funeral and pack the house up. A very stressful and sad time.
Christmas Day - The storms that hit Melbourne. We were ok, air-con flooded. But we came out of it easily, compared to some people.

Overall I look at 2011. It had its high times, but I didn't achieve everything I wanted to do, for many reasons. Lets hope 2012 is better.

Why don't you join the January Rewind too.

Design Sponge at Home

Back in July I featured the book trailer for the up-and-coming book 'Design*Sponge at Home' by Grace Bonney. Well my wonderful mum bought me a copy!!!

For those who don't know, Grace Bonney started a blog 7 years ago called Design*Sponge. Like many popular blogs, there is now a book version.

Design*Sponge at Home is the perfect coffee table book. It's beautiful and sturdy. The book is divided into 'Sneak Peeks', 'DIY Projects', 'DIY Basics', 'Flower Workshop' and the popular 'Before & After' shots.

In the 'Sneak Peeks' chapter, there are a vast amount of eye candy photos of people's homes. One can see many examples of interior design styles, featured in homes in places like South Africa, New York, Sydney, and Melbourne! The photos are clear, crisp and beautiful to look at. Text is informative and is rich in inspiration.

Our next delicious chapter is the DIY Projects. There is an assortment of projects one can do. Ranging from recycle cake stands to pressed botanical specimens. Each project gives you a list of ingredients you will need for your project, the cost and estimated amount of time it will take to complete.

Next we have the DIY Basics. Tools every homeowner should have. Then we have a basic but clearly illustrated projects one can do around the house. Like, 'How to Paint Furniture', 'Hanging Wallpaper' and 'sewing basics'.

Our next chapter is ' Flower Workshop'. As someone who has done a basic florist course, this is an excellent chapter. There are certainly some lovely photos and some cute modern ideas.

Lastly we have the 'Before & After' chapter, this is my favourite. It never ceases to amaze me, what people create out of old furniture and items.

Once again there is a basic explanation of how to complete the project, cost and estimated time. Certainly some inspiring projects.

'Design *Sponge at Home' met my expectations. Beautifully designed, produced and a joy to read. It would be an excellent house warming present or Christmas present.

Paperchase a little tour

Recently on my trip to the UK, I was able to indulge in having a quick peek at Paperchase in Canterbury, Kent. It was such a joy to see the stationery in the flesh, so to speak, where I have only seen the goodies on many blogs.

The styles of stationery in Paperchase are very colorful, playful and a little bit retro. There are many Paperchase stores located around the UK, I do hope they come to Oz.

As you can see, the Christmas range were on display in September!! Seeing Christmas and Halloween decorations up at the same time, is a little bit wrong, I feel.

In another shop in Avebury, I saw this Christmas card, which I just adored. Illustrating the 12 days of Christmas.

There you go, a little tour of stationery in the UK.

Hi, it's been awhile since I posted, I've been on holiday. The family flew that terrible long flight to the UK to see family and do some site seeing. We were very lucky with 26 degree + warm days and beautiful blue skies. Now I'm back here, I'm a little cold. :-)

I thought I would share my favourite photo. This is me and my son standing in front of Castle Howard, which is near York. I have always wanted to visit this Castle, seeing they filmed the TV series, Brideshead Revisited there.

When we visited Castle Howard, my son was in a really bad mood that day. In this pic I was asking him what he thought of the castle, he replied in a bored tone, "it's just a house". Mmmmm Kids.

I recently borrowed from my local library, The Art of Decorative Paper Stencils 2 by Kanako Yaguchi. What a gorgeous book!

The reader has the opportunity to try out her paper stencils. There is a 'How to use this book' and diagrams on different ways to fold paper.

Kanako Yaguchi likes to illustrate her travels and experiences in different countries through patterns and paper cutting stencils. The reader sees paper stencils representing Jamaica, Japan, San Francisco, Berlin and so on. The photos are colorful and clear.

I gave the Vienna inspired paper stencil ago. The end result was pleasing.

To conclude the book ends with a few projects that one can do - 'Decorating your travel memories with paper stencils'. There is patterned paper included, you just need a pencil and scissors.

Overall I liked this book and I hope to purchase my own copy.

Magnolia Square

Well a new venue, The Centre in Ivanhoe, is being tried out this weekend for Magnolia Square, a market hosting work by artists, designers and makers.

I thoroughly enjoyed my time, looking at the gorgeous items. Thinking what should I buy. Alas I saw some cute Union Jack magnets, straight away thought, I'm going to buy those. Looked up and it was fellow crafter Michelle, from Crayon Chick! Funny.

Overall good market, but I thought it was very squashy. Because there was so many people, one was sometimes pushed along and you couldn't stop at stalls long enough to browse. Let's hope it's not like that next time.

Magnolia Square is on tomorrow, if you're in the Ivanhoe area tomorrow.

Well, I received my hard copy issue 2 of Paper Runway. Opening it, was like opening a birthday present! I was so excited to see my product feature in the Father's Day product selections. It was a real buzz.

So here I am pictured pointing to my writing paper and the top of the page. Photo taken by my son, who thought it was very cool seeing my product in a magazine. Nice to get an 11 year old's 'cool' approval. :-)

My Creative Space.. Fabric

Yes you read correctly, fabric. But I can hear you say, but Beky deals with paper not fabric! Well I finally got my act into gear and sent one of my robot designs to Spoonflower for a test. I was very happy with the result, even though it felt very weird seeing my design on fabric, when usually it's on paper.

Spoonflower is an American company that prints people's designs onto fabric. They will print one off's or 'yards' of the fabric. Depending on what you require. I hope to do more in the future and see where this journey will take me.

So excited, I just discovered my Silhouette Black Trees Writing Paper Set is in Issue 2 of Paper Runway. So excited and happy, certainly a happy dance moment. So looking forward to receiving my hard copy of Paper Runway. I will be certainly framing the page. This certainly means a lot to me.

Design Made Trade - State of Design Festival

Today was the first day of the Design Made Trade Show at the Royal Exhibition Building in Carlton, Melbourne. It is just one of many events that is part of the State of Design Festival.

A few months ago I was invited to participate in the Design Made Trade. Which was a surprise and it was very flattering, but I decided not to participate for many reasons. So with the suggestion of the organiser, I visited DMT to get a feel to what it is all about.

Note: To much sadness, I couldn't take photos. I totally

understand because there were some prototypes there.

Walking into the fine Royal Exhibition Building built back in the 1800's, it's an inspiration in it's self, displayed within is all these modern and retro style designs. What a feast for the eyes and brain.

There are over 70 exhibitor's at DMT. There's assortment of artists, textiles, graphic and furniture designers, universities, jewellery, animation, wood design and so on. There is also a section presented by MoOD Innovation Platform, it has a selection of many new materials made out of leather, plastic, wood, fiber and so on. One has the opportunity to feel the amazing fabrics, they would be a must to see for any fashion designer. Lastly there was a vast display of new designs for the Melbourne Design Awards, these can be voted by the public.

It was lovely to see the very cute display by Ink & Spindle and the fun display by Pocket Carnival. Overall I really enjoyed myself. If you wish to go, this Saturday and Sunday is for the public. Go over to their web site here for details.

Thought I'd share what I'm reading these school holiday's.

The Big Book of Beautiful Biscuits Yes it's a 1990 Australian Women's Weekly Classic. Don't you just love that brown!

Real Living Magazine (Oz Version) I've subscribed to this magazine since Issue 1. There have been many changes in this magazine, one noticeably craft / bloggers are being featured in this mag.

The Tomato Book Pretty good book. Didn't realise how many types of tomato's there were.

The Good Life (Complete Series) I have very strong wonderful memories of watching this show with my parents, back in the 1970's. The show is so innocent and refreshing, compared to TV shows that are made now. The topic of 'self-sufficient' is even more relevant today!

Single in the City I don't usually read girly books, but when I saw it was set in London, I thought, why not and give it ago. I'm actually really enjoying it, it's funny and forward. Excellent holiday reading material.

Snail Mail... remember that?

Back in June I had the pleasure of joining in on the Creative Collective June Snail Mail Swap Bot. One was given 3 people's addresses, who also signed up to the swap bot, and you sent them something lovely via snail mail. I ended up sending parcels to Canada, Canberra and Tasmania. It was such fun. I do hope they enjoyed their snail mail parcels.

These are the goodies I sent to my swap bot partners.

Of course I received 3 parcels full of goodies, one from New Zealand, UK and Queensland. Wasn't I lucky!

Hottie Cover Challenge Exhibition

On Friday night I had the pleasure of visiting the launch of the Hottie Cover Challenge Exhibition at the Opendrawer Art, Textiles and Learning Centre in Melbourne.

Curlypops invited people to design Hottie covers to raise money and awareness of Heart & Lung Transplant Research supported by the Margaret Pratt Foundation and Opendrawer. 113 Hotties were produced for the exhibition.

I was amazed, inspired, and amused by all the creations. One could purchase a Hottie for $50.00 or place a donation towards the Hottie you liked the most. The Hottie that had the most money, will win the Hottie Trophy. I think the photos will talk for themselves, enjoy....

You could place your donation in these cups.

Stampin' Up!

Yesterday I had the pleasure of going to a Stampin Up! party. I have been to many home parties, such as Tupperware, Linen, Avon and many more. This was the first party that was definitively up my alley and one of the most enjoyable I have ever been too.

To begin with the lovely demonstrator, Marlene talked about Stampin' Up!, which originally started in America and then the business spread to the rest of the world. We were then introduced to the products via the catalogue. Then the hands on and fun began, by making our own cards. This was fun and I learnt a little about the cutters etc. I really don't get to make cards with paper, seeing as you know I design my own stationery on the computer. So actually getting one's hands dirty (so to speak) was fun. I have purchased some Pear, Wasapi and Chocolate inks, which I'm looking forward to receiving.

Ok I have a serious problem, I just keep wanting to crochet blankets. We really don't need any more, but I just can't help it. I want to crochet pretty blankets, they make me happy and zenish (I know that's not a word, but I like it). I just want to have a pile of pretty crochet blankets to look at. I know I'm weird.... :-)

Once this one is finished, I start on my mum's crochet blanket.

My Creative Place - Orange Tart

Recently I received 3kg of oranges. So what to make, I know an orange tart.

Orange Tart

1 Quantity sweet pastry

1 tbs granulated sugar

2 oranges

Sweet Pastry

200g plain flour

pinch of salt

70g unsalted butter

80g caster sugar

1 egg, lightly beaten

1-2 drops of vanilla extract or essence

1. In bowl, sift flour and salt. Cut butter into cubes and rub into flour, until the mixture resembles fine breadcrumbs.

2. Stir in sugar. Make well in center of flour, pour in combined egg and vanilla. Mix with palette knife. Make into a dough.

3. Gather dough into a ball and flatten it slightly. Wrap in plastic and store in fridge for 20 min.

Orange Filling

200g unsalted butter

finely grated rind of 1/2 orange

300g caster sugar

4 eggs

6 eggs yolks

30g cornflour

140ml orange juice.

1. Preheat the oven to 180C (350F/Gas 4)

2. Grease tart tin 22cm across the base with butter. Roll out pastry and line the tart tin.

3. Bake pastry blind for 10min until firm. Remove beans and paper and return to oven for 15min.

4. Orange filling - Melt butter and orange rind, remove from heat. Sift sugar into bowl, and eggs and egg yolks. Sift in cornflour and mix well, then add orange juice. Pour egg mixture into the

saucepan with butter and the orange rind and place over med. heat. Stir constantly, bring to the boil. Remove from heat and pour into the shallow dish. Cover the surface with baking paper and refrigerate until cold.

5. Preheat grill, beat the orange filling and spread in the pastry shell. Smooth the top. Sprinkle sugar over mixture and place under grill to caramelize. Cool, the chill in fridge.

It was great to eat with whipped cream and the taste of the orange was stronger the next day. To view other creative places, click here.

Praying Mantis

Just had to share a little happiness that happened in our household tonight. My son found a praying mantis wrapped in spider web and twigs. So we took it inside, because it looked like it was on deaths door. When my husband came home, I said we have a patient for you to look after, he is a vet. So minutes later my husband was helping this cute little praying mantis. Once all the web and twigs was off the mantis, we put it outside. So glad we could help this wee little animal.

Not sure if Kootoyoo is doing Creative Spaces today. Anyway, thought you might like to finally see the finished crocheted blanket that I started back in April. It was my first attempt crocheting this style. I was happy with it, to a certain extent. The edges are a little rough, but that's OK. I'm very eager to start on the next project. Crochet is my Zen. :-)

Chocolate Chip Muffins and Bach

A perfect lazy afternoon, to listen to some Bach while making chocolate chip muffins. Recipe is from this book.

Chocolate Big Chip Muffins

2 Cups Flour
1/3 cup brown sugar
1/3 cup white sugar
2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
2/3 cup milk
2 eggs

125g butter, melted and cooled down
1 tsp vanilla essence
2 cups large chocolate chips or chunks
1/2 cup chopped pecans

* Large bowl, mix flour, sugars, baking powder and salt

* In separate bowl mix milk, eggs, butter and vanilla
* Make well in centre or dry ingredients and add milk mixture. Stir to combine, then fold in chocolate chips and pecans
* Spoon batter into prepared muffin pans. Bake at 200C for 15 to 20 minutes.
Makes 12

When the days are getting colder, I like to curl up on the couch and crochet warm blankets while sipping a tea. I decided that I must use up all my wool, that is accumulating around the house. So I decided to start crocheting a waving blanket. This will be my third crochet blanket and I'm sure there will be more in the future.

Big House Collective

On a beautiful autumn day, I had the opportunity yesterday, to explore a new shop on the Ballarat block, Big House Collective .

The Big House Collective is only a couple of weeks old, but it's contents is rich in history. There is lots to buy. Items such as old children's books, retro clothes, antiques, prints, and furniture. There is also craft and art available. My favourite room was the room out the back, which transported me back to the 1970s.

There are a number of rooms to explore, so make sure you have time to soak up the history and novelty that this place has to offer.

It was sad to read that a very hard working crafter has had a precious handbag stolen from her stand at the Australasian Quilt Convention in Melbourne today. Nicole Mallalieu had a lovely bag made from Ink & Spindle fabric and a precious button that belonged to her late Nan. For more information check out Curly Pops blog. Zentangle to paper

Been a little quiet lately due to having the flu. It was annoying, body sick, but the brain wide awake and wanting to do projects. However just before the flu entered the building I managed to do a little project.

I transformed a Zentangle TM pattern into a paper pattern. This particular Zentangle is called 'Betweed'. I love this one. It's relaxing and repetitive. The process was to draw Betweed, then cut it out. Then trace it on Christina Re paper and Japanese Paper. I thought of quilting when I was doing this. Is it a similar process?

Once the paper cut out and then stuck on board. I placed it in a frame. Instant art. I was very happy with final product.

Finders Keepers Market

I was really looking forward to venturing to the Finders Keepers Market here in Melbourne. Seeing I enjoyed it so much last year. Unfortunately my positive mood was tarnished when I arrived to discover that I had to pay $13.00 for parking. I wasn't happy because last year it was free and secondly it put a dent into my budget. I asked at the gate why this year one had to pay, unlike last year, they blamed the football match. Mmmm

Anyway Finders Keepers was filled with many beautiful and well made products. There were many stalls that were there last year, but also some new ones as well. Not sure if it was me or what, but it felt smaller.

I don't have many photo's, actually very little, seeing my camera decided to play up. Sigh. But what I do have is photo's of The Paper Convention I had the pleasure of meeting Cathy, who was decorated with origami paper love hearts. The Finders Keepers Market

Last year I had the pleasure to visit the first Melbourne Finders Keepers market. Well it's on again this weekend. So if you haven't got anything to do, I would recommend you visit The Finders Keepers Market down at the Melbourne Docklands.

My aim is to have a stall at this groovy market in 2012, cross my fingers.

After Dinner Mint Cheesecakes

Today was my husband's birthday, and because it's his birthday he always wants something cheesecake related for dessert. This time a mint theme. So I traveled over to the Philadelphia Cream web site. What a great resource of yummy recipes. To cut along story short I made the 'After Dinner Mint Cheesecake'. It's yummy, but SOOOOO rich. You have been warned.

Creative Collective - March Project

I just managed to get this tiny March project in for this month's Creative Collective project.

I had extremely old strawberry perfume, from The Body Shop. It smelt ghastly, it wasn't fit to use. So after dumping the perfume, I thought I would reuse the cute little bottle for this project.

Used some lovely Japanese Washi Tape and some left over Japanese paper. The paper was perfect to cover the Body Shop logo which is imprinted on the glass.

I finally completed my most recent crochet project. I wanted a little basket to place my bath goodies in. So I made this little basket out of string, yes string. It was the perfect colour and it had that natural feel. Which was perfect for our new bathroom.

Divine Twine

Back in November (gee that long ago) I mentioned the very cute Airmail Twine from Whisker Graphics. Well I finally purchased a roll and the package arrived at my doorstep!

Well I must say it does live up to it's name, it is divine. The twine is so soft, which is not surprising seeing it's 100% cotton. The twine is 4ply and there is 240 yds of the glorious twine. And it's made in the USA! There was also a little extra touch. Some cute air mail stickers and samples of other twines in a selection of colours. Now the question what to do with the twine, I have a few ideas, just need to find the time. If you want to order your own, check out Whisker Graphics.

So pleased to announce my first retail placement in Victoria! Today I visited Curious Oyster Shoppe in High Street, Thornbury, and it was such a buzz to see my Thornbury notepads in the window.

Curious Oyster is a real treasure, with a collection of retro, vintage clothes and lovely crafts made by local artisans. The atmosphere is warm and inviting. I loved the special touches of the cat from Alice In Wonderland sitting on the front window and Alice looking through the mirror.

If you are unsure where Curious Oyster Shoppe is, the best landmark to look for is The Thornbury Theatre. There is 1 hour free parking around the corner from the shop.

Firstly there is the first issue from Tiny & Little. If children are in your life, you will enjoy the useful resources that are offered in this publication.

The second issue of the Matchbook Magazine is out there to entertain, inspire and inform. Some lovely photography to drool over.

Activities are moving slow at the moment, we are in our 4th week of getting our bathroom renovated. So the energy that I put towards creating new stationery is being directed to the bathroom, crochet and life in general.

I feel my blog is being a little neglected at the moment. I will get back to you, when less distractions are occurring. In the meantime what would you like to see more on this blog? This blog is as much as mine as yours. Would love to hear your suggestions.

Well my baby errr 10 year old son went back to school today, now in Grade 5. Where have the years gone? Only felt like yesterday he started Prep. Next thing I know it, he will be starting University! :-)

My Creative Space....... Bigbot

It's Thursday again, and you know what that means? It's the time to show off what I have been creating.

I have been crocheting another robot from the book, Crobots. I'm making this Bigbot for my son, he requested different colours to be used. I am currently up to the arms, I must admit the pattern isn't making sense to me. The arms are looking very different to the photo, will need to look into it a little more. When I'm more awake and when my son is back at school, so I don't have any interruptions.

3 Completed Zentangles

Yesterday I had the pleasure in taking part in a beginners class for Zentangle TM. The class was conducted by the lovely and enthusiastic certified Zentangle teacher, Kass Hall.

The class was conducted in the famous Nicholas Building in Melbourne, which has a high reputation of housing many art studios, quirky shops and it just oozes creativity.

I fully admit I was very nervous doing this course, I am not an illustrator, (I am a computer person). I will be lucky if I can draw a decent stick figure. :-) However Kass was very encouraging and stressed you don't have to know how to draw. Just relax, experiment and have fun!

Anyway I hear you say, what is Zentangle? It originated in America, and from what I can gather it's big over there, and just hitting the shores of Australia. Zentangle TM, is "an art form and Zentangle is an elegant metaphor for deliberate artistry in life"....."inspired invention and offspring of Maria Thomas and Rick Roberts." Getting back to the course. Kass Hall, explained the history of Zentangle, it's positive effects on ones self and then proceeded to teach us all the steps.

I loved it! I found the whole process so relaxing and a little boost. Funny when going home on the train, I saw some kids with very large lolly pops. I was imagining what Zentangle would look like within a shape of a lolly pop. And of course just before bed I tried some more Zentangle and completed it this morning.

My Creative Space....... Space Invaders

Seeing it's school holidays, my son asked if we could update his bedroom. We are limited to what we can do on the walls, seeing the majority of the inside of our house is exposed brick.

In the past, I had seen a variety of decals on the Internet, and I wished I could use them. But of course you cannot stick them on brick. However I had a light bulb moment! Why not stick them on a large blank canvas. This would be a great solution until we get my son's bedroom walls renovated. My son decided he wanted space invaders, seeing he is really into computer games. Invaders decals by Vinyl Design, located in Sydney.

Today I am grateful of my son. He was a 2 month premature baby and he has had a little rough time growing up. But at the age of 10, he seems to be blooming with creativity, energy and love.

Here he is learning how to do stop motion filming with his Lego.

Trying to find Zen

You will have to forgive me, for not posting much. We are in the middle of renovating our bathroom.

So amongst the sounds of jackhammers etc. I try to find a little Zen. There is my crocheting, there is the school holiday activities, there is also 'Pure Green Magazine' to read. I love reading 'Pure Green', great decor candy shots and lots of inspiration.

Recently spotted these very cool visually inspiring city panoramic borders, available through Design for Use.

Cities such as Paris, Rome and even Los Angeles are available. Personally I would go for the Paris one. I really could see these borders in a kitchen, a teenagers room or even a cafe. I certainly like them.

New Year, new project

Recently the 'Creative Collective' announced the January challenge, which I mentioned in a previous post. So I took up the challenge, and produced my very first amigurumi robot.

I received for Christmas 'Crobots 20 Amigurumi Robots to Make' by Nelly Pailloux. Such a cute book. In the past I have only crocheted granny squares, and I have never learnt much else. So I decided I had to leave my comfort zone and take the plunge to learn new stitches and learn how to read a pattern.

Well I did it!

Tomorrow is the last Made In Thornbury Craft Market for the year. There will be plenty of locally produced products that you can buy for Christmas. Also recently I did a custom job for a new business, Ch.O'C-Smith So come along and check out the goodies and maybe buy a gingerbread house of some cookies.

Pivotal Xpressions wont be having a stall, but I will be back next year with a lot more stationery goodies.

Twilight With The Donkeys

Down the Garden Path

Recently I had the pleasure of being invited to an open studio for Tinniegirl and Curlypops. The event, 'Down the Garden Path' was certainly a path to a world of creativity.

Tinniegirl was generous to visitors, not only did we get to view her lovely artwork and have a chance to purchase if we wanted to. But she also let visitors view her very clean and creative studio, a studio to die for I must say. I hope Tinniegirl will hold this event again.

Pepe's Paperie New Website!

Our Christmas Tree

This year I decided to not use our usual Christmas tinsel, ornaments, reindeer, even our Mexican Christmas decorations. This year I decided to use paper.

I used some beautiful Cristina Re paper that a friend had given me for my birthday. I also had some left over Japanese paper. I made small fans with the Japanese paper and scattered them amongst the branches. I didn't want to use tinsel, so of course I had to make two little buntings with Cristina Re paper, very cute. Lastly I made some bon bons out of recycled cardboard tube and some bows. All of it was held together with Japanese Washi Tape

This time next week I will be attending as a stall holder at the Diamond Creek Craft Market. I am really looking forward to this market, seeing Diamond Creek is my home town. Lived there for 12 years. To coincide with the market is also the Diamond Creek Town Fair. Please note, the main street of Diamond Creek will be closed for a certain amount of time for the parade.
