Vintage Valentine's Card

Seeing Valentine's Day is coming up, I thought I would share with you a vintage Valentine's Day card from the family history archives.

I find this card gorgeous, so traditional and romantic. There is real lace connected to the fan and little sparkles glued on.  So delicate.

Vintage Christmas Cards

Well it's exactly a month till Christmas Day.  Where has this year gone!?  To celebrate a month to go, I thought I would share a couple of vintage Christmas greeting cards that I discovered in the family history archives.

While my mum was searching through the family history records she found some more lovely vintage greeting cards. Enjoy.

This vintage birthday card is dated 1921

Published by appointment to their Majesties The King and Queen Alexandra.

This vintage Christmas card is dated 1905.

Vintage Love

Like to share a vintage greeting card. I think this card is for a wedding anniversary, not sure. Can anyone read Greek? I love the colours, almost cartoon like.

Vintage Greeting Cards

Once again while my mum was searching through old family historical records, she came across some vintage greeting cards. Which of course I had to share with you all.

This first card is my favourite. It was given to a past family member in 1912! The raised forget-me-not flowers feel like some kind of fabric. It is a birthday card with the words inside, saying:-

Is not the flowers upon the card The lines that there appear. It is the sender's true regard that wishes the wish sincere.

The second card is a Christmas card, dated 1920. There is no writing inside, but you can see it is from a family member in Balaklava, South Australia.

Vintage Greeting Cards

Recently, my mum and myself have been putting together our family tree. While searching through the family archives, we came across a box of Golden Wedding Anniversary Greeting Cards. The cards belonged to my Great Grandparents.

Aren't these vintage greeting cards from 1951 just gorgeous. They are certainly from a bygone era.
