Inspiration

Inspiration for me comes in many forms and appears at the oddest of times. I could be reading a book, walking down the street or just reading the many craft blogs that inspire me. A few of my favourite blogs I look in amazement. The lasses at Ink & Spindle , Konstant Kaos and Poppies for Grace have inspired me to want to create and explore.

Last year I created this simple but effective collage with lovely lacy white paper. The image represents growth and hope for me, almost organic. I wanted the image to have texture and have a 3D feel, so a blind person could run their fingers over it and feel the image. The image was simple but received positive feedback in class.
