Blogtoberfest - Day 1

It's taken me around 24 hours to decide if I want to join in on Tinniegirl's Blogtoberfest. I ummed and ahhhed, and thought stuff it. If I miss a day I don't think I will be disowned by other bloggers. So here goes, day 1 of Blogtoberfest.
